Berlin Tour
Tabard 1st XV toured Berlin in June and entered a 10-a-side rugby competition, where they got to the final, losing to St Mary's College, Dublin, 10 - 0.    As for the rest of the tour - what goes on tour....

Herts Girls 7's Tournament [Full results]
Tabard hosted the Herts County 7's on Sunday 18th May.  After many  exciting games the results were:
U18 Cup - winners: Basford (Basildon and Rochford), runners-up:   Letchworth.
U18 Plate - winners: Reading, runners up: Kettering.
U15 Cup: - winners: London Irish, runners up: Saracens.
U15 Plate - winners: Bucks Jesters, runners up: Kettering.
U15 Bowl - winners: Welwyn Warriors, runners up: Tamworth.

Schools Rugby [read more]
Tabard are working with local schools to ensure that ANY interested students get the opportunity to play rugby [read more]. As a result of these endeavours they hosted a special SCHOOLS TOURNAMENT FOR GIRLS [read more].
Colts Team for 2008/2009
For next season Tabard have already shown an interest in the Colts Rugby scene and Nigel Gough is forming a coaching team and ensuring measures are in place to ensure that Tabard can compete effectively at this level next year.
Play On
Play On is the next stage in the RFU's recruitment campaign and follows on from the earlier Go Play initiative in which Tabard played an integral part at all levels. Unfortunately the Play On campaign is not so definite in its intentions and the approach of Tabard, at this point in time, is purely tentative.
