Girls Schools Tournament

Tabard RFC has set up a club/schools/college partership with local schools and Oaklands college. The aim of the partnership is to encourage rugby in local schools. To this end Tabard coach "Monte" Monte-Colombo went to seven schools to provide coaching. Having had a number of sessions a special tournament for girls rugby was arranged at the Tabard club in Radlett, to put the coaching into practice. Of the seven schools five of them sent teams of around twenty players.

The resulting day was a complete success and the photos show the girls going through their paces on the pitch and then afterwards in the clubhouse where a "debriefing" and photo session was held.
